These terms govern your use of softhextech.com and of Pitlane, the workshop management software provided by Softhex Tech ("Softhex", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Pitlane, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
The service
Pitlane helps car workshops manage customers, vehicles, bookings, WhatsApp conversations, service reminders and related reports. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure.
- You are responsible for the team members you invite and the activity under your workshop's account.
- Tell us promptly at info@softhextech.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your data and your customers
- You keep ownership of the data you add to Pitlane. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your customers' details and to contact them.
- You must only send WhatsApp messages to customers who have agreed to hear from your workshop, and you must stop messaging anyone who asks you to.
Pitlane connects to the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. When you connect your number, you must also follow WhatsApp's Business Terms and Business Messaging Policy. Meta may charge for some messages, and may limit or suspend a number that breaks its policies. We are not responsible for actions Meta takes on your WhatsApp account.
Acceptable use
You must not use Pitlane to send spam or unlawful content, to harass anyone, to break the law, to access other workshops' data, or to interfere with the service or its security.
Fees
Paid plans, their prices and billing terms are shown to you or agreed with you before you are charged. Unless stated otherwise, fees are not refundable for partial periods.
Availability
We work to keep Pitlane available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Softhex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using Pitlane and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. After closure, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and notify account owners of significant changes. Continuing to use Pitlane after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute.
